The material used for the Zeppelin says it all: Cocoon. Originally developed in the sixties, this extraordinary material and production method was given a new lease of life in 2005 by Marcel Wanders. The cover, made from synthetic resin fibre, is sprayed directly onto the lampshade frame, thus creating the structural shape. The final spray-on coating protects the Cocoon material and guarantees its stability. A bevelled crystal ball located in the lower section of the Zeppelin creates a highly expressive, glittering effect.
