The main characteristic feature of the Parentesi from Flos is its flexibly adjustable direction of the light. It is a classic among the spotlights and today still impresses by its functional design. The Flos Parentesi is a light that convinces with its intelligent construction. It consists of a spotlight that can be slid along a tensioned steel cable by means of a shaped steel tube. This tensioned steel cable is simply screwed onto the ceiling and it has a maximum length of 400 cm. The Flos Parentesi is a design classic from 1970 and it received the Compasso d'Oro design award. This spotlight was created by the well-known designer Achille Castiglioni. The steel tube is available with a white, black, red or nickel-plated liquid-painted finish
